my bedroom is 11ft 1in. x 11ft 1in. so very small, not a lot of room space with a closet that takes up one wall, a queen size bed that takes up another. BUT... I made it work. I'm starting college soon, and really needed some form of working station. this desk is beautiful. despite my limited space, it still makes my room seem bigger than it really is. it's modern and sleek, I was able to put it together by myself in an hour. all the nails and screws and such came labeled (which is very nice for me because I personally am not good at identifying what screws are which. some companies send them in one bag mixed together and I have to spend extra time organizing and labeling them myself). this is probably my favorite desk ever. to be fair, I've only had 1 other desk in my life. there's so much space for both arms and legs (I'm 5'7, more legs than torso so this was important for me) even when I have my chair lifted all the way up they don't touch the desk (until I lift them up of course, but how often are you just holding your knees in the air under a desk?) definitely get this desk if you're looking for something modern and easy to put together. my boyfriend even said this is the type of desk he wants to get once he gets his own place. beautiful for everyone. prepare to put your arms to use, there's only screws for a hex wrench and a regular wrench!!!!I'm very happy with the desk. I would like it just a little higher but that is not really a big issue. The piece itslef is very sturdy, everything fit into place and all the screws hold up very well. Just be aware that since the structure is a thin metal it does tend to shake slightly when you are heavily type or write. Overall it is definitely worth it for the price. For this quality I could have paid even 4 times moreI was sceptical at first, I usually do immense research on a product that sounds too good to be true. I've watched videos and read articles that desks around this price usually have desks that are wood on the outside and cardboard on the inside but this is not usually. This desk is really sturdy and can tell it's real wood. The metal parts aren't cheap as well and thought it would be like some hard plastic but I was wrong. The only iffy part isn't really the product itself, the packaging came in with some holes but nothing to damage the product. I will assume that's the carriers. If you're reading this I hope this calms your scepticm and get to enjoy a great desk.I love that this was so easy to assemble, and after installing looks so neat and organized in my room. I have an average sized room (10 x 14 x 10 x 14 FT), and the 55 inch is perfect size. The only issue I have with this desk is that the wood gets smudged really easily and the smudge mark stays until I wipe the desk down with windex and a microfiber cloth. Maybe it's because the seal on the wood attracts finger prints and arm smudges easily? Dunno why, but it doesn't bother me, just a slight con.I used this desk in an RV. I either needed to replace the ugly flaking vinyl chairs with more expensive ones or put a desk in the slide out. I chose this desk because of the overall dimensions and fit perfectly in the slide out space. I then went to the glass shop and put a on top piece of glass to save the wood. Perfect!Great solid desk but I was so impressed with customer service. We lost the hardware and they responded within an hour and shipped us replacements. Great company to do business with.My husband assembled this and said it was super easy. I get many compliments at work in my new office space!This desk is really nice, its sturdy and looks attractive. It took a little while to put together but all the pieces were available and there was no damage.
